Current research is focused on the development of inhibitors for the NS3 protease of the Dengue and West Nile flavivirii using both classical structure and substrate-based drug design approaches as well as hybrid "rational" approaches.
We are also actively involved in the development of agonists and antagonists of the Protease Activated Receptor (PAR) family of G-Protein Coupled Receptors. In this program we are extensively applying high-field NMR spectroscopy to the elucidation of solution structure/conformation of small peptides and peptido-organic hybrids
